The following directions should be used by those wishing to attend any of our half marathon or 5K events that are held in the Forest of Dean,

The centre of operations is Speech House field, postcode GL16 7EL

Take the A48 for approximately 12 miles and follow signs to Cinderford town centre. Follow signs for Coleford & continue to Speech House.

Take the A48 for approx 10 miles and follow signs to Lydney Town centre. In Lydney, go over the railway crossing and take the next road on the left, the B4234 signposted to Parkend.

Continue on the B4234 through Whitecroft village to Parkend.

Go straight through Parkend village, past a post office and garage, until you arrive at a T-junction with the B4431. Turn right at the T-junction onto the B4431 and then first left back onto the B4234 signed to Cannop.

Continue approx 2 miles. At the crossroads with the B4226 turn right. Continue up the hill to Speech House. Look out for marshals. Park as directed.

Car parking for entrants is provided free of charge on Speech House Field near the start line. Information will be included in runners' race packs.

The Speech House Hotel (situated adjacent to the start and finish lines) can provide accommodation.
