Terms and conditions of entry

It is essential that you read these notes in full before completing your entry form.

1.Registrations are on-line only. This greatly simplifies the process and means that you can pay conveniently using your debit or credit card. Please click the link after you have read this page.
2.Minimum age limit is 17 years of age by the date of the race. There is no upper age limit.
3.The monies paid in relation to this event are paid by way of charitable donation. As a result, you agree that no refund will be made under any circumstances.
4.Following a successful registration, a confirmation email will be sent to you containing a summary of your registration details. Please keep this information for reference.
4.This event is organised by the Rotary Club of the Royal Forest of Dean (charity no. 286032) and any use of the term organisers refers to the club and any individuals involved in organising the event. By entering, you agree to accept the rules of the organisers.
7.This is a virtual event. As such, the organisers take no responsibility for your activity and you agree to ensure your own health and safety and that of others affected when participating.
8.You agree that you have not relied on any information contained in this website or otherwise provided to you by the organisers of this event.
9.You further agree to ensure that you comply with any law, by-law, regulation or governmental advice when participating.
10.The organisers may not be held liable even in case of negligence.
11.Nothing in the foregoing is intended to exclude the organisers liability for personal injury or death however you agree that such liability can not arise.
11.Publicly accessible information on finishers will be limited to a results sheet detailing name of runner, date of entry and time achieved. Any other information submitted to the organisers through registration, contact, results reporting or otherwise, will be used solely for the administration of this event.
12.Deadline for entries is Monday 5th April 2021 at midnight. Please make sure your entry reaches us by this date. The organisers reserve the right to close registration at any time if (for example) the number of registrants exceeds our limits.
13.The organisers reserve the right to modify the rules of the event. Notice of any such changes, wherever possible, will be posted to the web site at: www.forestofdean-halfmarathon.co.uk.
14.The organisers reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event if circumstances beyond our control mean that it is not possible to run the event. There will be no refunds. We may, at our discretion, offer entry to the same event the next year on special terms if circumstances prevent the race from being re-scheduled.
15.You irrevocably consent to your appearance being recorded on any media, and consent to your name and photograph being used for the purposes of announcing results and promoting the event.
