1. Registrations are on-line. This greatly simplifies the process and means that you can pay conveniently using your credit card. Please click the link after you have read this page.
2. Minimum age limit is 17 years of age by the date of the race. There is no upper age limit.
3. Once your entry is received and entered onto the Race Entrant's Database, fees are non-refundable.
4. Your personal race number and relevant information will be mailed to you by 14 March. If you have not received these by 7 days before the race, please telephone 01594 833941 to make enquiries. Chips will be issued on the morning of the race on presentation of your race number.
Your personal Race Chip must be worn throughout the duration of the race. Race chips are not transferable.
5. By entering, you agree to accept the rules of the race organisers and you confirm that you will wear a race chip, will compete entirely on foot, and will run entirely at your own risk, with no dogs or following cycles or vehicles. You will only take part if you are medically fit to run a half marathon. The race organisers and their agents will not be liable for any injury, loss, or expense which may arise in consequence of your participation in this event.
5a. Please obey all instructions of race marshals or police at road crossings - failure to do so will result in disqualification.
6. Teams may be entered at no extra charge at the time the entry is made. To be valid, teams must have a minimum of three members to finish the race.
7. Each UKA-affiliated club will automatically have one male and one female team entered. There can be any number of runners in a team, but only the best three results will score.
8. Non-affiliated teams may also enter. Team names must be unique.
9. No individual or team entries will be accepted after the entry deadline, or on the day of the race.
10. Deadline for entries is Sunday 29 February, 2012. Please make sure your entry reaches us by this date. The organisers reserve the right to close registration at any time if (for example) the number of registrants exceeds our limits.
11. The organisers reserve the right to modify the rules of the event. Notice of any such changes, wherever possible, will be posted to this web site.
12. The course will be closed when the event finishes at 14:00.The organisers reserve the right to close the course for safety reasons at any time.
