2010 Forest of Dean Half Marathon
Terms & Conditions

It is essential that you read these notes in full before completing your entry form (link at foot of page)
  1. Registrations are on line. This greatly simplifies the process and means that you can pay conveniently using your credit card. Please click the link after you have read this page.
Note that we no longer need a stamped addressed envelope for the race pack - it's included!
  2. Minimum age limit is 17 years of age by the date of the race. There is no upper age limit.
  3. Once your entry is received and entered onto the Race Entrant's Database, fees are non-refundable.
  4. Your personal Race Chip must be worn throughout the duration of the race. Race chips are not transferable. The chip, together with your race number and relevant information sheets will be mailed to you before 15 March. If you have not received these by 7 days before the race, please telephone 01594 833941 to make enquiries.
  5. By entering, you agree to accept the rules of the race organisers and you confirm that you will wear a race chip, will compete entirely on foot, and will run entirely at your own risk, with no dogs or following cycles or vehicles. You will only take part if you are medically fit to run a half marathon. The race organisers and their agents will not be liable for any injury, loss, or expense which may arise in consequence of your participation in this event.
  6. Teams may be entered at no extra charge at the time the entry is made. To be valid, teams must have a minimum of three members to finish the race.

Each affiliated club will automatically have one male and one female team entered. There can be any number of runners in a team, but only the best three results will score.

Non-affiliated teams may also enter. Team names must be unique.

  7. No individual or team entries will be accepted after the entry deadline, or on the day of the race.
  8. Deadline for entries is Sunday 28 February, 2010.
  9. The organisers reserve the right to modify the rules of the event. Notice of any such changes, wherever possible, will be posted to this web site.
